These waterproof trekking shoes are recommended for 3 seasons of low mountain hiking and day trips. The upper material uses CODURA ECO, a 100% recycled material that is environmentally conscious and durable and lightweight. The North Face's exclusive waterproof and breathable membrane /"HydoroSeal/" is used to prevent rain from entering, while allowing stuffiness. Rubber material mud guards from the toe to the heel to protect your feet. The CRADLE heel technology features a supportive part that surrounds the heel and reduces lateral shake by absorbing shock when landing. Combine with a rigid midfoot shank plate for a comfortable stride. By using a last with room in the toe, you can protect your toes, and get a grip on the ground with your toes. The outsole uses Vibram XS-Trek rubber that can handle high grip in dry and wet conditions. A pair of shoes that are easy to wear even as first mountain climbing shoes with excellent fit and stability.
